2 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Chad Green (elbow) will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone. The 30-year-old had been undergoing tests on his elbow over the past few days, and the team had been speculating that Green was likely to miss extended time. Green racked up three holds and a save this year while pitching to a 3.00 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP. His presence will be missed in the Yankees' bullpen.
