Cedric Mullins Exits Early With Quad Tightness
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins (quad) was removed from Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins in the second inning due to right quad tightness. He experienced tightness in his quad after running from first to third base on a ball. The 28-year-old went 1-for-1 with an RBI before exiting. Colton Cowser replaced him during Saturday's game. Mullins is considered day-to-day, and the Orioles will provide a status after the game. Cowser, one of the Orioles' top prospects, would see an uptick in at-bats and is worth adding in all league formats despite hitting .188 (3-for-16) with two RBI over his first five big league games.
