CC Sabathia Only Lasts Three Innings In Fenway Park No-Decision
6 years agoEarly on Thursday night at Fenway Park, the New York Yankees seemed poised for a victory, having scored the first four runs of the game. Starting pitcher CC Sabathia, however, really labored on the mound, never truly finding his rhythm. Ultimately, he would last only three innings, surrendering two runs on three hits and four walks. He was spent at that point, having tossed 77 pitches in the process. This continues a rough stretch for the 38-year-old that began against the Baltimore Orioles last month. While he would leave the game with the Yankees holding the lead, the bullpen would cough that up en route to defeat.
