Castellanos Hits 15th Homer in Win Over Rangers
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nicholas Castellanos hit his 15th home run of the season as part of a 1-for-4 day at the plate. It was a solo bomb off of Rangers starter Cole Hamels, good for his 55th RBI of the year. Castellanos is enjoying a career year so far, slashing an impressive .302/.352/.513 with the aforementioned 15 homers, 55 RBI, and 49 runs scored. He's gotten on base in six out of the last seven games and scored at least one run in six out of the last seven games as well. In his last 14 games, Castellanos is slashing .302/.393/.660 with five home runs, 13 RBI, and 12 runs scored. He's a firm hold in all fantasy leagues, and he's a guy you're continuing to plug into your lineup every day.
