Case Keenum Knocked Out Thursday With Concussion
5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Case Keenum (concussion) suffered a concussion on Thursday night against the Vikings and has been ruled out for the second half. The journeyman quarterback was 12-for-16 for 130 yards without a touchdown or interception, but he did lose a fumble before leaving. He wasn't terrible, but he predictably wasn't great either against a strong Vikings Defense. Keenum will have extra time to clear the protocol before the Week 9 game, but there's still a chance the 'Skins go back to rookie Dwayne Haskins. Haskins will get the rest of the second half to try to lead the team to a comeback on the road.
