Buffalo Sabres goaltender Carter Hutton lasted only 2:53 in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers, exiting with a lower-body injury. Dustin Tokarski came in and made 33 saves in his first NHL game since 2016. Sabres coach Don Granato said that Hutton has traveled with the team to Pittsburgh, so he might have escaped a serious issue, but we'll have to wait and see. Buffalo faces the Penguins on Wednesday night. Losing Hutton will be another bitter pill to swallow for the Sabres, who already have Linus Ullmark (lower body) on the shelf. The team lost its 14th consecutive game on Monday.--Taavi Pailk
