Carson Wentz Throws Costly Interception In Week 5 Loss
2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz completed 25-of-38 passes for 359 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in Sunday's loss to the Tennessee Titans. The 29-year-old was able to fill the stat sheet better than he has in recent weeks, but that doesn't tell the full story. While he was pushing the ball downfield, Wentz consistently made mistakes and questionable decisions during this game. No mistake was bigger than his game-sealing interception when the Commanders had a chance to win on Tennessee's goal line. Fantasy-wise, the seventh-year pro had a solid scoring output. However, managers have to wonder if the Commanders will let the Wentz experience ride out for the entirety of this season.
