Carson Wentz Struggles In A Rainy Week 11 Loss
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz struggled again in a rainy Week 11 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Wentz completed 21 of his 35 passes for 235 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Many of Wentz's yards came in what was essentially garbage time, as the Browns had a multiple score lead in the fourth quarter. Wentz's two interceptions were likely two of the worst picks thrown in the NFL this week, as he essentially targeted defenders with the two passes. Wentz was able to add 10 yards on three carries and was lucky to have his fumble recovered by players wearing his same jersey. He was also sacked in the end zone for a safety in the third quarter. It hasn't been a good year for Wentz, but a matchup against the very generous Seahawks secondary awaits him next week.
