5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz could be working with a new backup soon. Wentz has sat out the preseason so far but has seen Nate Sudfeld (wrist) and Cody Kessler (concussion) get hurt under center. Rookie Clayton Thorson is the only one left on the depth chart, and since the Eagles certainly don't want their starter or their rookie playing an entire game in the preseason, we could see a new face on the Eagles sideline soon. Meanwhile, Wentz will continue to practice with the team but is unlikely to see much if any of the field before Week 1.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
