Carmelo Anthony Has Rough Night Against Suns
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Carmelo Anthony had an uneventful night against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. Anthony, who played just 26 minutes, scored only 11 points on 4-for-11 shooting from the field and 3-for-7 from downtown. Along with teammates Russell Westbrook and Paul George, the veteran saw a reduction in his time on the floor as a result of the insurmountable lead that the Thunder had towards the latter part of the contest. He will have a less than favorable matchup against the Spurs on Saturday, a team that is allowing only 16.8 points to opposing power forwards per game this season.
