Carmelo Anthony Drops 23 Points With Three Blocks
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony bounced back from a rough game with a 23-point outing against the Magic on Tuesday. Anthony had just 2 points in his last game but delivered a much better scoring performance along with five triples, three rebounds, and three blocks in 27 minutes. It was also a historic night for the 36-year-old, as he passed Oscar Robertson to move up to 12th on the all-time scoring list. Anthony has now scored 20-plus points in three of his last four games, as he's provided some scoring punch off the bench for the short-handed Blazers. He could struggle offensively in his next matchup against a strong 76ers defense, though.
