Carlos Santana Disappoints Home Fans in the Home Run Derby
5 years agoCleveland Indians first baseman Carlos Santana disappointed the home fans in the Home Run Derby on Monday, hitting just 13 home runs and getting eliminated in the first round. He faced off against eventual winner Peter Alonso, who went after Santana so he didn't need to continue after passing Santana's 13. The Cleveland fans were excited for Santana and tried to rally behind him as much as they could, but it was ultimately not his night. He'll be the starting first baseman for tomorrow's All-Star Game, and he'll bat fourth.
