Carlos Rodon To Throw Live BP Monday
2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that left-hander Carlos Rodon (forearm) will throw a live batting practice session on Monday. Rodon suffered a left forearm strain in spring training a month ago, and this will be the first time he's faced live hitters since. Barring any setbacks, the 30-year-old southpaw should be around a month away from making his Yankees debut in the regular season. Rodon hasn't gotten off to the greatest start in his first year in the Bronx and has had injury issues in the past, but he's been an All-Star the last two years with the San Francisco Giants and has ace potential for fantasy managers when he's fully healthy.
