Carlos Rodon Strikes Out Six In Win
3 months agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Carlos Rodon fanned six batters over five-and-two-thirds scoreless innings in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader victory over the Rangers by a score of 8-0. The southpaw allowed just three hits but also walked five batters in the contest. Still, the 31-year-old was able to pick up his 13th win of the season, now sporting a 13-7 record with a 4.18 ERA (4.56 FIP), 1.22 WHIP, and an 18.0% K-BB%. The former 2x All-Star should get a favorable matchup in his next start versus the Tigers on the road next weekend.
