Carlos Martinez Struggles Again On Tuesday
St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez struggled again in Tuesday's start against Cleveland. He lasted just four innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk. He did strike out seven, and he did certainly pitch significantly better than he did in his previous outing (2/3 of an inning, 10 earned runs allowed). Still, it's concerning for the Cardinals and for any remaining fantasy managers with Martinez in their lineup. He's up to a 6.21 ERA for the season and shouldn't be started in any lineups until he can put together a decent start, assuming he gets the chance to do so.
