5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Carlos Martinez picked up his seventh save of the season on Friday despite not throwing his best inning. He closed out a 12-11 win for the Cardinals, but he allowed two runs on two hits and two walks. Martinez hasn't been great in his last few outings, but he should have a long enough leash to hold onto his job, especially if he's still able to lock down the wins for St. Louis.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
