Carlos Jorge Turning The Corner At High-A
4 months agoCincinnati Reds outfield prospect Carlos Jorge went 2-for-4 with a home run on Wednesday evening and has begun to turn the corner at High-A. This performance was his second consecutive game, tallying multiple hits and going deep. In addition, the 20-year-old has only gone hitless twice in his past 11 games. During this span he has posted an excellent .351/.467/.676 line with three round-trippers, six RBI, six stolen bases, and an 8:10 BB:K ratio. With his recent surge at the plate, Jorge could push for a late-season promotion to Double-A.
