Carlos Estevez Records Save On Friday
2 years agoColorado Rockies relief pitcher Carlos Estevez was handed the ball in the ninth inning of Friday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 29-year-old tossed a scoreless ninth inning to record his second save of the season. It was a bit odd to see Estevez out there instead of Daniel Bard. It sounds like this was a routine rest day for Bard, so the Rockies decided to give Estevez a shot in the ninth. Fantasy managers shouldn't be concerned about Estevez taking over Bard's job as the closer.
