Carlos Correa Could Miss Opening Day
6 years agoHouston Astros manager A.J. Hinch was non-committal on the status of shortstop Carlos Correa (neck) for Opening Day on Thursday. He hasn't played since last Friday due to neck stiffness. "We've got a couple days to evaluate him, so we'll see," Hinch said. While it might not be a big deal if Correa miss just a day or two, but it's not a good look after he played in just 110 games in 2018 due to back issues. Aledmys Diaz would likely fill in at the 6 if Correa misses any regular season games right off the bat.
