6 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. (forearm) is not on the roster for the wild-card game against the Rockies on Tuesday due to forearm discomfort. Instead, the Cubs felt more comfortable using Pedro Strop (hamstring), who hasn't pitched in over two weeks. Edwards had seen his velocity drop to close out the year, and it also led to poor control.
