Carl Edwards Jr. Continues To Struggle On Rehab Assignment
6 years agoChicago Cubs relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. (shoulder) continues to struggle on his rehab assignment. In two-thirds of an inning on Wednesday, Edwards allowed one hit, one walk and hit a batter while striking out one and allowing no earned runs. Edwards has struggled over his three rehab appearances and has allowed two hits, two runs, four walks and has hit two batters while striking out three. The Cubs would like to see better control out of Edwards before bringing him back up and it is likely that he will make a few more appereances for Triple-A Iowa.
