6 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals are not interested in signing free-agent outfielder Bryce Harper to a deal well in excess of $300 million this winter, according to major league sources. While we can't rule out that they will eventually jump into the mix for the superstar, the Cardinals are currently more focused on a corner infielder than an outfielder and also want to bolster their left-handed relief. St. Louis currently has Marcell Ozuna and Harrison Bader penciled into starting outfield spots, while Dexter Fowler and Tyler O'Neill are other options for the remaining spot. Harper would be an obvious upgrade over them, so don't count the Cards out just yet.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
