The St. Louis Cardinals activated infielder Jedd Gyorko (calf) from the 10-day injured list on Friday and optioned outfielder Drew Robinson to Triple-A Memphis in a corresponding move. Gyorko has 61 home runs since joining the team in 2016, which is second only to Matt Carpenter's 81 dingers in that span. He can play all four infield positions but will mainly be a reserve that occasionally sees starts against left-handed pitchers.--Keith Hernandez
