6 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria will begin the 12th season of his career with plenty to prove. Longoria battled injuries in 2018 during a season he would like to forget. The 33-year-old drove in only five runs combined in the months of June and July and posted only a .388 slugging percentage in the second half of the season. Longoria appears to be healthy this season, as evidenced by his .295 batting average this season. But the slugger has smacked 25-plus home runs only once since 2014 and hit a career-low .244 last season. Longoria has the potential to drive in runs in the heart of the Giants order but his fantasy value will be a complete roll of the dice in 2019.--Joey C - RotoBaller
