Cameron Payne Joins Bulls Rotation
7 years agoChicago Bulls point guard Cameron Payne (foot) will serve as the primary backup point guard in the second half of the season. Bulls' executive vice president John Paxson said Kris Dunn will start and Payne will back him up off the bench. Jerian Grant will be pushed out of the rotation entirely. Payne underwent foot surgery in September and has yet to play this season. The Bulls traded Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round draft pick for Payne last season. Chicago wants to get a good look at Payne, but his fantasy value is limited off the bench.
