Cameron Johnson Might Miss Remainder Of The Preseason
1 year agoBrooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (hamstring) could miss the remainder of the preseason. He continues to battle a hamstring issue, with head coach Jacque Vaughn indicating he plans to be "extremely cautious" with the former Sun. Johnson appeared in 25 games for Brooklyn last season after being acquired from Phoenix as part of the Kevin Durant deal. He averaged a career-high 16.6 points and was given a four-year, $108 million extension over the Summer. Fortunately, he's moving in the right direction, meaning there's a great chance he'll be ready for the start of the 2023-24 campaign. But if Johnson isn't healthy enough to play, Dorian Finney-Smith or Ben Simmons may take his place in the starting lineup.
