Cameron Johnson Heading For Surgery
2 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Cameron Johnson (knee) was diagnosed with a torn right meniscus and will go under the knife. The 26-year-old moved into the starting lineup this season and has made the most of it, averaging a career-high 13.0 points and shooting 43.1% from deep. He doesn't have a timetable for a return. However, Torrey Craig figures to take Johnson's spot in the lineup for the foreseeable future. Craig only had five points in 22 minutes in Saturday's win over Portland. However, he had three blocks and a steal. With that said, Craig has an upside, although he will likely be a hit-or-miss fantasy option moving ahead.
