Cameron Dicker Perfect As Eagles Replacement Kicker
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles kicker Cameron Dicker made both of his field-goal attempts from 42 and 23 yards away and made both extra-point attempts during the team's 20-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. The 22-year-old was called upon to replace Jake Elliott (ankle), who suffered the injury last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dicker's 23-yard field goal gave Philadelphia the lead late in the fourth quarter and ended up being the game-winning score after Arizona's replacement kicker Matt Ammendola missed a 43-yard field goal to tie the game. There is optimism that Elliott will be back for next week's home matchup against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys, but Dicker will fill in once again if the Eagles starting kicker has to sit out one more week. Dicker should convert back to the practice squad once Elliott returns.
