4 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton (neck) is dealing with a sore neck after getting hit hard during a sack in the Monday night win over the Jets. "My neck is only working on a degree angle that shuts off the degrees to one side. So my eye muscles are getting a lot of work in today," Newton said. Jets safety Ashtyn Davis was penalized for unnecessary roughness, but Newton stayed in the game. The former MVP had one of his best games of the year, going 27-for-35 for 274 yards with two rushing touchdowns. He now has eight rushing TDs this year, his most in a single season since 2015 when he had 10. It was a nice bounce-back game from Newton, but he'll be more of a low-end QB2 in Week 10 against the Ravens and their strong defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
