5 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (foot) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (shoulder) are not practicing on Wednesday. Newton continues to rehab and won't make his return in Week 9 against the Titans. He could be back for Week 10 against the Packers, however, but it remains to be seen how effective he'll be if he's reinstated under center for Carolina. Newton didn't look great before his early season injury, but he's worth stashing in most formats. Samuel was targeted 11 times in Week 8 but came down with just four catches. He's been mostly quiet with Kyle Allen at quarterback. He'll be on the WR2/3 borderline if he plays this week. If he's forced to sit, D.J. Moore and Greg Olsen would see more targets against Tennessee.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
