Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler was limited to only 21 seconds of action against San Jose on Thursday, leaving the contest after taking a puck to the face. He was bleeding heavily as Fowler headed into the locker room. The Ducks still managed to win the game 6-4, with the rest of the blue-liners playing a big part in the success. Urho Vaakanainen was the lone Ducks defenseman without a point on Thursday. Radko Gudas and Pavel Mintyukov saw the most action on the backline at 28:14 and 26:23, respectively. They will be leaned on heavily again on Friday against New Jersey if Fowler is unavailable.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
