4 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers has gotten a lot of hype this offseason, and he's a talented player. However, you may want to temper your fantasy expectations for the rookie in his first NFL game. In addition to the team likely being forced to throw more than run due to their matchup, we don't know how the backfield touches are going to shake out right out of the gates. Running back Darrell Henderson is dealing with an injury but should be able to play, and Malcolm Brown should see some touches as well. Until we see what Akers' workload is going to be, it's best to avoid him for now in DFS formats in Week 1 against Dallas.--Gage Bridgford - RotoBaller
