2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers (personal) is not expected to be released, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Therefore, if the team fails to trade him, they expect him to play later in the regular season. Akers was inactive in Week 6 and is not expected to play in Week 8, either. Through five games this season, he registered an uninspiring total of 151 rushing yards, 18 receiving yards, and one touchdown.
