Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Cam Akers had seen his role trend upwards over the past few weeks, and it finally paid off in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers. He had nine carries for 84 yards and a touchdown on the day. The Rams rushing attack has been inconsistent this season, but Akers has been steadily coming along. As the next few weeks roll on, it's likely that he's going to regain the starting job that he had earlier in the season.
