Calvin Ridley Unguardable In Win Against Bills
1 year agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley hauled in seven passes for 122 yards and rushed two times for 14 yards in a 25-20 win over Buffalo. It was a major bounce-back effort from Ridley, who was trending downward after 110 total yards in his last three games and a season-low two targets in Week 4. The 28-year-old was dynamic all day long and seems to have regained the confidence of quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Ridley's performance was highlighted by a beautiful pitch and catch late in the fourth quarter on a 3rd and short which resulted in a 32-yard gain. This play helped keep the drive alive and ultimately led to the game-winning score from Etienne Jr. Ridley takes on the depleted Colts secondary next week, a team in which he shredded for 101 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
