Calvin Ridley Held To Just 30 Receiving Yards In Week 7

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley had four catches on six targets in Week 7, but managed just 30 yards and was held out of the end zone. The Falcons offense struggled mightily on the day and didn't score their first, and only, touchdown until the fourth quarter, when backup quarterback Matt Schaub had taken over for an injured Matt Ryan (ankle). Ridley will most certainly have some down games sprinkled in throughout the season, but the team's offense should rarely struggle to this degree as long as Ryan and the team's key playmakers remain healthy. Ridley will be worthy of starting as a WR2 most weeks going forward.
