Calvin Ridley Goes For 70 Yards In Week 8
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley had a solid outing against the Seahawks in Week 8, catching four of his seven targets for 70 yards. It was his third-highest yardage output on the season. The Falcons were led by backup quarterback Matt Schaub in the game as Matt Ryan (ankle) was out. Schaub still managed to lead a dominant passing attack in the game, which is promising to know going forward, even though Ryan may not miss any further games. Ridley tied with Austin Hooper for fourth on the team in targets in the game, behind Julio Jones (12), Devonta Freeman (8) and most surprisingly, Russell Gage (9). Ridley's 70 receiving yards were second on the team behind Jones.
