Calvin Kattar Set To Headline Wednesday On Fight Island
4 years agoCalvin Kattar (21-4) has a chance to really bolster his featherweight stock with a win in the main event. He is coming off of an impressive knockout of Jeremy Stephens, who is not one to be knocked out. Kattar has heavy hands with knockouts of Ricardo Lomas and Shane Burgos. He lands 5.29 significant strikes per minute. His absorb rate is higher, though, absorbing 6.46 significant strikes per minute. Eighty-nine percent of his strikes occur while standing, so it's likely to be a standup war if Kattar is involved. DraftKings has Kattar listed at $9,100. He averages 80.6 points per contest but has scored over 100 points in three of his last four bouts.
