C.J. Cron Drives In Three Runs Thursday Versus Toronto
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman C.J. Cron came in off the bench to add some offensive support Thursday versus the Blue Jays. He would contribute a three-run single that capped the scoring for Tampa Bay. In the previous four games where he recorded an at-bat, he would go 5-for-13 with two walks, two runs scored and six RBI. He is batting .253 with 27 HR and 68 RBI in 2018. Cron appeared like he might be traded before the end of August after he was placed on the waiver process but the time passed so he remained a Ray. Cron has some value in deep leagues due to his power numbers but little else.
