C.J. Beathard Shouldn't Be Trusted In Week 17
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard has a great matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 17. The Seahawks are allowing 287.9 passing yards per game this year, the most in the league. Unfortunately, Beathard is going to have a limited supporting cast for the game and the team will likely rely heavily on Jeff Wilson Jr. and their run game. Brandon Aiyuk (ankle) is sidelined for the game, making George Kittle the only trust-worthy target for Beathard. The team's top wide receivers will be Richie James Jr. and Kendrick Bourne. Beathard has done a decent job of ball control this year, throwing for five touchdowns and no interceptions and earning a quarterback rating of 109.9. However, he's not someone worth relying on in fantasy leagues. He was held under 200 passing yards last week and will likely be around the same mark this week.
