Byron Buxton Reinstated From Minor League Disabled List
6 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (wrist) has been activated from the minor league disabled list and will rejoin the Rochester Red Wings on Tuesday. The wrist injury had set Buxton back over a month, but he had been making progress during his recent rehab. 2018 has been an utter disappointment for Buxton owners. With a season riddled by injuries and a lackluster offensive showing in both the majors and the minors, owners can only hope the once-heralded Buxton can put the year behind him. He's only 24 so it's probably too early to give up on his potential, but with a career batting average of just .230, he will have to show something before dynasty owners lose their patience. He had a good 2017, and will need to build on that for the future.
