Buxton took on White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn in the first inning and delivered a powerful three-run blast, sending the ball soaring 427 feet. Undeterred, he continued his display of power, launching a 354-foot solo shot in the fourth inning, extending Minnesota's lead to 6-1. The 29-year-old concluded the night going 2-for-4 at the plate. After a great Friday outing, his statistics still need to improve as the Twins star is slashing .197/.284/.426, with 17 homers and 40 RBI.
