Buddy Hield Bounces Back With 22 Points
4 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield, who had only five points on 1-for-11 shooting on Saturday versus Denver, regained his scoring touch in Sunday's matchup against the Clippers, finishing with 22 points. His 7-for-18 shooting could've been better, but he put in a lot of work on the glass with nine rebounds and handed out two assists. Hield's league-best 87-game streak with at least one made three-pointer came to an end on Saturday but he laid a foundation for a new streak with a 3-for-9 effort from downtown. The 28-year-old sharpshooter, who has suddenly started to average eight rebounds per game this month, will be in a great spot for a big performance on Tuesday against the Sixers, who are giving up the second-most points in the league to the shooting guard position.
