Bud Norris Takes a Loss on Friday
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris took the loss on Friday, allowing a solo home run to end the game in Milwaukee. Norris only got one out, so his final line was one-third of an inning pitched with one run allowed on one hit. Norris came into a tie game in the bottom of the ninth and was tasked with taking the game into extra innings, but Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar had different plans. The outing dropped Norris' record to 3-2 and raised his ERA to 3.41. He's been somewhat hittable of late, but he's still in no danger of losing his closing gig.
