Bud Norris Has No Structural Damage in His Finger
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris underwent an MRI and it showed no structural damage to his finger. Norris experienced soreness and swelling on a finger of his throwing hand, but was able to finish the inning he was pitching. Since there is no structural damage, he likely won't need a trip to the disabled list, but he should be rested for a couple of games. Jordan Hicks will fill in as closer until Norris is ready to retake his role.
