Bucs OC Says O.J. Howard's Time Is Coming
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich said that tight end O.J. Howard's time is coming in the offense, but he wants it to happen naturally for the tight end. Through five weeks, Howard has a measly 11 catches on only 14 targets for 141 scoreless yards. Many fantasy owners assumed that Howard would break out in 2019 in head coach Bruce Arians' offense, but that hasn't been the case. Some owners have already moved on. There's still time left in the season for Howard to make an impact, but most owners don't have the time to wait around and find out. He'll merely be an unappealing TE2 in Week 6 against the Panthers until he shows us something.
