Bryson Stott Seeing Time At The Leadoff Spot
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Bryson Stott is enjoying a great start to the 2023 season, slashing .383/.393/.467 with three runs, four RBI, and three stolen bases. And thanks to his hot streak, manager Rob Thompson has penciled the 25-year-old in at the leadoff spot in four of the last five games. Stott failed to show off his offensive ability during his rookie campaign last year, batting .234/.295/.358 with 10 home runs and 12 steals across 127 games. But he has the potential to hit for average and power at the big league level with enough speed to steal double-digit bases. If the former top prospect can keep hitting and stays at the top of the lineup, Stott should provide fantasy owners with north of 80 runs in a solid Phillies lineup.
