Bryson DeChambeau Records a Top-25 At Shinnecock Hills
6 years agoThe 22nd-ranked player in the world, Bryson DeChambeau, kept up his pristine form at last week's U.S. Open. DeChambeau, who was in his fourth career U.S. Open appearance, recorded his second career top-25 at the event. The 24-year-old American finished eighth in strokes gained off the tee, 12th in strokes gained-putting and 12th in average driving distance for the week. DeChambeau didn't have any significant weaknesses that held him back, but he did only finish in a share of 50th compared to the field at Shinnecock Hills in sand-save percentage, a stat that has been troubling him during his superb run as of late. DeChambeau is in this week's field at the Travelers Championship and makes for one of the top selections on the board. Until he shows signs of slowing down, he will make for a top option to consider weekly.
