Bryse Wilson Throws Five Scoreless Innings In His Return
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Bryse Wilson (arm) was activated from the injured list prior to Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He went on to start the game and he delivered a solid outing, pitching five scoreless innings. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out seven. Wilson was sidelined for the minimum 10 days due to right arm fatigue. He's been quietly impressive since joining the Pirates at the start of August. Over four starts with the team, he has a 3.60 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. He's worth keeping an eye on for fantasy managers, though his next matchup will be a tough one against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.
