1 year agoWith wide receiver DJ Moore now in Chicago, The Athletic's Joe Person writes that the Carolina Panthers plan to have rookie first-round quarterback Bryce Young spread the ball around among a receiving crew that includes newcomers Adam Thielen, DJ Chark Jr. and rookie second-rounder Jonathan Mingo. Thielen caught a lot of shallow-crossers in the preseason, while Chark will be the big-play threat. Person says that the sense here is the Panthers might not have any wideouts who rack up big fantasy points in 2023. Because of his experience as a possession receiver, the 33-year-old Thielen probably has the highest ceiling and floor of the group, although Mingo could develop into Young's favorite target by season's end.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
